Display Distribute's 5th edition of the 'Catalogue' explores the administrative side of creative operations:

"Administration, in this sense, is about the diversion of resources; assets and their movements are ambiguously traced, and we plug in to the places and peoples where assemblies and assemblages may be scrambled together.

Without yet even addressing the dubious package of contents being smuggled, we work around 'how to work', and a methodology arises as a broader process of organising, which, in a certain sense, is also to question the forms of Display and their connected forms of Distribution. A parallel analogy makes this also a question of Solidarity (bringing to a form, coming together, making manifest, becoming public, and slightly further, on Display) and its connected forms of Economy (circulation, transaction, Distribution). Even more bluntly: who has time and interest to engage in a conversation that leads to a further triggering of thought or possibly public result? Where and when to find a space to manifest this something?

And who takes care of the ensuing material and immaterial labour of maintenance and clean-up?"
