Aftershocks is a multi-series zine project created in response to the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28, 2025. The series raises funds for grassroots earthquake relief efforts and brings together political, emotional, and visual responses to the ongoing crisis and collapse.
This issue, Aftershocks: Nobody's Faults?, compiles raw, unfiltered posts and thoughts shared in the immediate aftermath on social media. A visual response by Min Ma Naing - drawn from her archive of photographs made in Myanmar before exile - intertwines with these words, creating a space of rupture and return.
