Agora en het netwerk van Fandangos was published as an accompaniment to the exhibition Agora en het netwerk van Fandangos at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht (NL), which was held on 22, 23, 24 May 2010. This exhibition was set up in the context of in the research project Agora: The archive – exhibited. Fandangos magazine was founded in 1973 by Raul Marroquin, together with Marjo Schumans and Anton Verhoeven. Raul Marroquin started his Fandangos project when he was a resident at the Jan van Eyck Academie. The magazine published works by artists of various up-and-coming art movements of the period: Fluxus, conceptual art, concrete and visual poetry, Body Art, Mail Art, performance.
