Burma Spring

Printemps Birman presents 14 Burmese and Rohingya poets and 6 photographers, all exiled, imprisoned or murdered by the military since the coup d'état of February 2021. Their works are testimonies of astonishment, anger and determination.

Prefaced by novelist Wendy Law-Yone and edited by Mayco Naing and Isabelle Ha Eav, this book aims to give voice to the poets and photographers who are or were part of the civil resistance movement known as “Myanmar Spring”, severely repressed by the ruling junta.
