Plastic Product Zine: 02 Refrigerator

<Plastic Product Zine> is a non-periodical, photobook-style zine.
Each issue is centered around a single keyword, using archived photographs to engage in
visual communication.

At PLASTICPRODUCT, we explore alternative ways of seeing the everyday. We search for subtle beauty and meaning in objects that are often overlooked or considered disposable, such as plastic, and express this perspective through clothing, independent publishing, and photographic art projects.

One of these projects is the Plasticproduct Zine, an irregularly published photobook series capturing what we call “plastic-like objects.”

While the first issue focused on silver cars in Korea, the upcoming second issue turns to the refrigerator which is a household object that’s at once mundane and strangely evocative. With over 900 photographs, the collection aims to give visibility to the silent presence of objects that shape our daily lives.
