Visit Palestine Poster Exhibition vol.02

“Visit Palestine” is a project by Andy, the owner of SUBstore in Koenji, Tokyo. Until now, it has traveled around Japan with the help of volunteers who have made connections. This time, PUMPQUAKES will be the contact point, and with the cooperation of the bookstore, Kyokusen, the exhibition will be held in Sendai. We, the members of PUMPQUAKES, were angry at the extremely horrific situation in Gaza, but at the same time, we felt ashamed of our ignorance. And in the face of the serious reality that continues to this day, we are overwhelmed with a sense of helplessness. I think there are many people who spend their days wondering if there is anything they can do. Nevertheless, we are encouraged by the actions of people all over the world who are calling for an immediate ceasefire and refusing to let a history of indifference and silence remain. Let’s think together about what each of us can do to bring about a ceasefire as soon as possible and help the Palestinian people regain their lives and dignity. We hope that this exhibition will provide an opportunity to share space with a variety of people and spark dialogue.
