Watr'ai - Tranen -Tears - Slzy

"Poetry series NL Caribbean" republishes poems by Dutch Caribbean poets, in their native langua-ge, a Dutch and English translation, and a trans-lation in one other language. The publications are intended to disseminate the legacy of these poets, many of whom are little known outside the Dutch Caribbean. These authors, who largely contributed to the field of literature, deserve to be purchased, studied and circulated more.

Currently, there aren't any works for sale by Johanna Schouten-Elsenhout. Her publication Surinaamse Gedichten can be found at the libraries of different universities, but is held at the "closed stacks" .
